Mary in the Annunciation as a Type of Baptism

The study shows that there is a full parallel between Mary in the Annunciation and baptism of believers. In Oriental interpretation, two-stage approach observed scene: Holy Spirit who cleanses Son incarnates have their counterpart birth new man – Christian receives through anointing with oil, becomes member Christ waters baptism. So we Mariology which soteriologically oriented inseparably connected person Christ. This approach, biblical line tradition, seems to be particularly interesting because it allows us see not always empha sized dimension our Marian devotion.
